About Us
Askew's Bingo Lottery is a community fundraising initiative created and operated by Doddington Village Sports & Carnival. It is not run by any profit-making corporation.
Every pound that flows through the system is either:
- Returned to players as winnings (net pot), or
- Allocated to the Carnival share to help fund and sustain Doddington Carnival events and local community projects.
The platform was built in-house by volunteers and supporters of Doddington Carnival with the goal of creating a fun, transparent and sustainable way to raise funds year‑round.
Our Objectives
- Provide an entertaining weekly number game aligned to the National Lottery draw schedule.
- Channel a modest share of each line into essential Carnival fundraising.
- Keep overheads low via volunteer development and open technologies.
- Operate with transparency: clear pot splits, auditable transactions, published results.
Where the Money Goes
- Net Pot: Paid directly to the winning line(s).
- Carnival Share: Helps cover infrastructure, entertainment, safety, and future community initiatives.
